Trip to Guatemala

My name is Mariveliz Arique Aguilar.  As many of you may already know my husband and I have been going through a process of validating his humanity in the United States.  After three years and $5,000, we are gratefully on the final stretch of this process.

This money will be used so that we as a family can go and take part in the single most important day of our lives, the interview at the US Embassy  in Guatemala.

The money will be used to purchase three round trip tickets to Guatemala, two passports, food and incidentals.

We are finalizing the paperwork within this week and will be given a date for the interview a month and a half after we submit.  Once we recieve that interview date, we have to secure round trip travel within the month.

The day we return from Guatemala will be the first day ever that Fredy will be permitted into the United States as a full fledge community member, with all the benefits awarded to residents.

I have been working diligently on my craft as an organizer along with my mental and physical health.  Completing this final stretch and not being alone through the process will mean the world to me.  This is a moment that we have been working so hard towards since we've been married.  Where we can be a family with out fear that hatred will somehow tear us apart.  I will be so thankful for any support small or large, that you can offer.
