Study Abroad: Alaska to Italy!

I am Agnes, and I am a University of Alaska, Fairbanks Art Major. I am hoping to study abroad for a few reasons. One is to work on getting more credits during the summer, but another is to visit Italy where my Great-Grandmother was born.

The $9840 is for the program costs, flights between Alaska and Rome, and a passport. Anything additional funds will be used while in Italy for art supplies, food, and any additional unforeseen travel costs. 

I have always wanted to travel to Italy since I was little, but as I've gotten older and learned more about my Great-Grandmother, known as Paula amongst family, I realized how much I missed out on when she died due to Alzheimer's when I was 6. My favorite art piece to this day is a charcoal she drew of a harbor near where she lived in Fall River, Massachusetts.
