Austin MultiGP ZeroGround Series Race #1

We are a local chapter for drone racing that is part of the Grass Roots Racing organization MultiGP.com

The drone industry is affecting many areas of life and the hobby and sports enthusiatsts are beginning to find that Drone Racing has a very promising future as entertainment and competiton for spectators and pilots themselves to enjoy.

We host races 2-3 times a month on average ranging from full on Racedays to Fun-Fly events and even Micro Drone Tiny Whoop Racing.  

All this fun is accomplished with passionate people that are not only pilots, but dedicate themselves and their time and resources to provide chapter members great events and fun times when they attend.  This often is costly in not only time and takign away from ones own racing but it takes money.  

We have many goals for 2017 and we need help to get there.  

The Austin MultiGP Chapter has been one of the original Tier 1 founding chapters and has been the sandbox for more than a few amazing pilots to hone there skills.   

Funds that are raised for the chapter are 100% commited to providign new equipment, prizes, and larger events with higher quality of spectator and pilot experiences.  

Goals:

Timing System upgrade to TBS Vtx Tracker- Will allow for easier and consistent event coordination for time trials and qualifiers.  ($800 value)

Maintaning and imporving Gates-Ongoing and constant cost of keeping a full setup of gates for race track designs ($20-50 a month)

Provide concessions at major events- we would love to partner with a company to offer concessions or at the least provide them at major events

Build and Maintain Flying Field- We can always use improvements and work on expanding our locations facilities
