Ashley High School Batting Facility

The boys and girls of the Ashley High School baseball and softball teams want to get ready for the upcoming season. These sports are games that require athletes to consistently work on refining the skills that'll give them a comptetitive edge come game time.

Not having access to an indoor facility to escape the cold and inclement weather prevents them from the year round practice they need.  Every year, budget cuts to school funding add more and more strain to county and school administration on how they spend those limited funds. Available financial resources are put towards the basic necessities like transportation, field maintenance and uniforms. This lack of funding hinders the ability to build the indoor facility these players so desparately need.

These aspiring athletes, along with their coaches, families and friends, have been hard at work for months, raising enough funds to order the shell of the facility but now need to continue their fundraising efforts to make the building usable. They still need to equip the building with electrical materials, turf, batting cages (netting  and set-up apparatus), portable pitching mounds, pitching machines, protective screens, batting matts, indoor padding or plywood, benches and lockers or storage bins. 

You're contributions will lend towards the completion of this project and will not only help the current student athletes of Ashley High School but the future athletes who will benefit from the use of this facility for years to come.
