ACA Explorers

We are a pair of cousins, Christopher and Molly, teaching English in Colombia to children from families with low economic resources. We are starting the ACA Explorers in the beautiful town of Jardin, Antioquia. This program will be a more academic/English acquisition based version of Scouts. We will teach English through immersion and focus on pronunciation and Total Physical Response (movement, dance, games) as well as incorporating STEM, art, nature expeditions, current events and many other themes.
What you donate will be used for supplies for our "exploratorium"- educational toys, books, school supplies, instruments, arts & crafts, and uniforms for our Explorers. We plan to launch the program full-on in January 2018 so the more support we can get sooner, the better.
This is really our life dream- to teach, engage, and change peoples' perception of language acquisition.
