Help build AAL a playground

Tax deductible
“Go outside and play.” It’s a phrase many of us remember hearing as kids, yet it’s an experience many of the students at the Autism Academy of Learning (AAL) don’t get to have. With your help, we hope to change that!

The AAL is a nonprofit, public charter school for students with autism. It was founded in 2001 by parents of children with autism looking for an alternative to traditional public schools. We currently serve 55 students from ages 5 to 22 with varying levels of autism. This school year brought the opportunity for us to move into a newer, better building, but unfortunately it lacks an outdoor playground.

We are asking for your help to build our students a fenced in playground. Your monetary donation will be used for the purchase and installation of swings, play structures, a fence and groundcover for our students.

As a year-round school, we hope to begin this project immediately. We plan to work in stages as our funding allows, beginning with a fence and swings.

Your generosity is appreciated. Please help us to give the students of the AAL the chance to “Go outside and play!”
