Avon Arts Music In The Park 2017

Avon Area Arts is making its second attempt at sponsoring Music In The Park in Avon at the Lake Wobegon Trail park.  This is the same park that saw the city host Garrison Keillor for his 35th Anniversary show. Thanks to a generous donation from a community member, we now have a beautiful bandshell and courtyard to host events.  In order to do this right, we are asking the community to help us raise funds for the musicians and other expenses,  

Last year's inaugural event was a HUGE success as we had great turnouts for each event and we raised some nice funds for our Scholarship efforts. Our plan is to turn this into an annual event, but that can only happen with your continued support.

In 2017, we had several private donors and local business support, as well as help from the Avon Chamber of Commerce and the Albany Area Community Education Group.

Please do what you can to get us going again.  The plan is for another three shows this summer, and we will announce the musicians as soon as we get our funding in place.
