The Helping Hands Project NCSU
Donation protected
The Helping Hand Project at NC State University is a nonprofit organization that designs, prints, and distributes 3D-printed recreational prosthetic devices to people with upper limb differences, all while providing a supportive community for all kids and families served within the organization. Since the start of The NC State chapter of the Helping Hand Project in 2017, the club has grown to over 75 active members who are dedicated to designing and building recreational prosthetic devices to make an impact in the lives of others. Thanks to the large number of student volunteers, we now have the capacity to develop recreational prosthetic devices and support up to 10 different children and adults with upper limb differences.
We rely heavily on donations to the club because our goal is to provide each device at no cost to its recipients and their families. All donations to the Helping Hand Project at NC State will go directly to materials and tools that are necessary for the design, manufacturing, and assembly of the devices, as well as any operations related to support for those who we are serving. We ask that you help us in our mission of giving these recreational prosthetic devices to each family for free by donating to this organization.
