Pat Schirmers' Medical Expenses

This is one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do as a daughter. My Mom (Pat Schirmers) suffered a major stroke some time in the early morning hours of Monday August 7th.
As a result of the stroke, Pat spent 3 days in ICU and 6 days total in the hospital. Pat is now in a Nursing Home Transitional Care Unit for 2-3 weeks of intensive rehabilitation.
They were able to remove the blood clot that was causing the stroke but but there has been damage done and there will be many days, weeks and months of rehabilitation needed to regain use and strength of her R limbs and her speech.
My parents are retired and have limited funds; enough to live however something like this will exhaust all their resources and then some. As you can imagine, their Medicare benefits will only cover a portion of this and Pat will need ongoing assistance and resources to reach her optimum recovery.
After the Medicare rehab resources are exhausted, they will need to find a new accessible assisted living environment where my Dad can do everything in his power to help keep her going.
Anything you can do with a cheerful heart to support them during this time would be very much appreciated.
Additionally, your prayers for full restoration and a miraculous recovery of my Mom Pat are requested.
