Help Save Little Man!

Donation protected
Little Man is a one year old German Shepherd who was hit by a car. He came into the hospital as an emergency and as of now they found he had multiple lacerations and a significant pneumothorax (collapsed lungs). His hospital bills are rising and unfortunately his owners financially were unable to continue care. Their only option was to euthanize Little Man.

Knowing that German Shepherds hold a special place in Drews heart, the emergency clinic contacted him to see if there was any hope of our family adopting Little Man (and his growing hospital bill)

At 9pm, all six of us drove to the emergency clinic to do a meet and greet with Little Man and check  his temperament around us. Guys... this dog is AMAZING. Even with open wounds, collapsed lungs, and in pain, he gave tail wags. kisses and obeyed commands. The kids cried because they couldn’t understand how such a SWEET dog could be put to sleep. The decision was on us... we either let him be euthanized or give him a chance at life... and of course we chose to bring him into our family and give him the life that he might not have otherwise.

Little Man needs more medical attention and will continue his stay in the hospital until he has recovered.  As many of you know, we are packing up to move to a Texas in two weeks... we weren’t planning on taking in the physical and financial responsibility of an injured dog but sometimes life throws you curveballs and you just have to do what’s meant to be. Any little bit helps and will be put towards Little Mans medical costs. Thank you!
