Hi there! We are Chris and Lauren - family dreamers. For the past 10+ years, we have been trying to build our family, but due to infertility issues, we've been redirected, so to speak. We are currently pursuing adoption full steam ahead, and we couldn't be more excited. This is a dream that feels so close we could touch it, yet the overwhelming cost of it all makes it feel so far away. They say it takes a village to raise a child. In our case, it takes a village to have one. Your donation to be part of our story is something we could never express enough thanks for.
Here's a breakdown of the costs:
Overall, we're looking at between $30,000-$40,000. We need half of that as soon as possible due to up front costs. Because we are adopting a newborn here in the states, we could get the call at any time to get our baby. There are agency fees, travel costs, lawyer fees, and baby supplies that need to be purchased. Every cent donated will go directly to bringing our baby home.
It is a humbling experience to have to ask for help. But we're not just asking for money. We're asking you to be a part of our family story. We can't wait to explain to our child someday what a wonderful village of people came together with their resources to help us become a family. We've dreamed of being parents our whole lives, and the thought that it's right around the corner makes our hearts want to burst with excitement!

The PUZZLE FUNDRAISER! Here’s how it works:
1. We had a 252 piece puzzle created on Shutterfly. It says “Love you to the moon and back”. We each have plenty of friends and family, so we thought we could at least get half of them, right?
2. We are “selling” each piece for $50. You can choose to buy 1, 2, 3, or 10! There is no limit! You can even go halvesies with someone.
3. You can donate here or send me an email ([email redacted]) for our address and send a check in the mail.
4. Once you purchase a piece, we will write your name on the back of one of the puzzle pieces and send you a picture.
5. Once every single piece has been “sold”, we will put the puzzle together and hang it in a double-sided glass frame for baby’s room so that our little Amos or Evie can always look back and be reminded of who had a “piece” of bringing him/her home!
It’s exciting to think about sitting down with our Amos or Evie, reading the names to him/her and explaining that these are all of the wonderful people who loved him/her to the moon and back before they even arrived. These are all the people that helped create a forever home. Isn’t that the cutest?!?! I just love it!
So, our goal with this Puzzle Fundraiser is to sell all 252 pieces which will raise $12,600!!!! That will take care of almost half of our entire adoption. How amazing would that be?!?! We’d be honored and humbled to have you be a part of this story.
Seriously, any amount helps. If you wish to make an additional donation above the $50 price of a puzzle piece (first of all, that is awesome!), simply put the desired donation amount in the box and proceed to process your payment.
