Coens cochlear emergency surgery
Donation protected
My son is Deaf and Autistic and relies on his cochlear implant to receive important safety alerts. He is non verbal but does understand some verbal commands as long as he is wearing his cochlear implant.
On the morning of August 1,2018; he woke up with severe swelling and bruising at the implant site which prompted me to take him into the local emergency room. They did an X-ray of his head which concluded that the internal magnet of his cochlear implant had drastically shifted and he would need to attend to children’s hospital ASAP to have the surgery to rectify it. As a low income mother of 4 kids it is going to be difficult to cover the financial expenses for the required ferry, gas, food and parking costs and so I’ve tirned to this site for a hand.
If youre not able to donate please just pass it on to friends and family who may be able to.
Thank you ♥️♥️♥️
