Restore Turner Farmhouse

Turner Farmhouse is a beautiful Queen Anne house, built around 1905. Turner Farmhouse Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is restoring the farmhouse, and creating a retreat house, Morning Star Retreat (MSR) in the 2nd dwelling.
Within 15 miles of Washington DC, MSR will welcome guests for weekend retreats, days of reflection, and much more. Located on a farm with horses, ponies, chickens, dogs and cats, MSR will create a country space far away from city life worries. Meditation, reflection and peace add up to healing of the spirit, body and whole person.
Sarah Kirk and family will live in the farmhouse, work the farm, and restore the 5 acre property, as part of the Fairfax County Park Authority Resident Curator program.
