On Sunday, April 16, 2017, John Kim passed away peacefully after battling stage 4 bladder cancer for 8 months after diagnosis, leaving behind his wife, Veronica, and 3 children. Although they have been preparing for the inevitable day, it came sooner than they had thought or hoped.
