Healthcare for Everyone-Louisiana!
Donation protected
The Campaign for Healthcare for Everyone-Louisiana led the charge to close the ‘coverage gap’ for low wage adults who earn too much money to obtain the existing Medicaid insurance but made too little to purchase insurance in the marketplace. Today, over 400,000 adults have health insurance coverage, many for the first time.
We could not be more pleased but even as we are celebrating this major accomplishment in Louisiana, Congress has begun efforts to roll it back. We need your help to protect our progress.
Will you chip in just $5?
$10, $25, or any amount will go a long way toward our efforts to stop the repeal without a replacement that maintains health insurance coverage for the newly insured.
Access to healthcare is a necessity for everyone at some time. Medicaid expansion provides that access for hardworking Louisianans who simply don’t make enough money to afford it. It provides care for expectant mothers, ensures that our children with special health care needs can access health care, helps people with disabilities live independent lives, and supports our seniors.
Donate now to help keep Medicaid expansion intact in Louisiana!
Thank you so much for your kind consideration.
