Children's Picture Book

I am trying to raise money for a Children's Picture Book that I have written, designed and illustrated, and would like to get self published. It is aimed at 5-7 year olds and has taken me about 10 years to complete, working around various day jobs. I currently have an exhibition on at my local gallery showing my original artwork and would like to give people the opportunity to buy the book for themselves. I would also like to support the local community by using a local printers/publishers and then sell my book in the gallery shop. I would be so grateful for any donation, however small to make this possible. Any profits from the sale of the book will go towards my next children's picture book project, as this is something I would eventually like to do full time as a career. I have a real passion for children's book illustration as I think it is one of the most important stages in a child's life, it's where we all begin our learning about the world around us.
