Jameson has had a long, tough little life. Since Jameson was born, he has struggled to gain weight, stay healthy and advance in most areas. When Jameson was just 9 months old, his parents received the worst news a parent could hear. Jameson was diagnosed with a rare liver cancer called hepatocellular carcinoma. This cancer has never been found in a child before, so doctors had little information to work with. Doctors decided a liver transplant was the only way to save Jamesons life. Just before Jamesons first birthday last August, Jameson successfully received a liver transplant. After almost a month in the hospital Jameson went home with his new liver. The Timberlake family received an overwhelming amount of love and support from family, friends and their community to get them through this rough time. After the transplant Jameson was then diagnosed with mulibrey nanism, a rare genetic disorder. They believe this is the cause for most of Jameson's health conditions. Jameson also has a small heart issue called PDA that doctors are monitoring closely. A small heart procedure may be in Jameson's near future as well.

It is been almost 1 year since Jamesons liver transplant, and Jameson again has another long road to endure. The Timberlake family once again has received some scary news. A few weeks ago (July 2015), doctors found a large mass on Jameson right kidney along with another mass on Jamesons right side. On August 5th, Jameson had his right kidney removed along with the mass on his side. Jameson is expected to be in the hospital for another week or so, again causing Jameson's parents to miss more work, take on more hospital bills and miss more time with their two other children. The Timberlakes are anxiously waiting for biopsy results to come in, regarding the mass found in his kidney and the mass on Jameson's side. Doctors believe that the mass on Jameson's kidney is a wilms tumor. An aggressive type of cancer found in children, especially those with mulibrey nanism. If the doctors are correct Jameson will also need chemo therapy and possibly radiation. We ask that you once again help this family through yet another tough time. This little boy has suffered so much, yet continues to smile and light up those around him. Thank you for your support and love during this time.
