What we thought to be an ulcer turned out to be
Pancreatic Cancer.
After a series of tests for his abdominal pain, a CT scan revealed a tumor in his pancreas. We were shocked. In January 2014, Eugene was diagnosed pancreatic cancer. After a biopsy confirmed that it had spread to his liver, our hearts dropped. He is now diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. As he struggles with extreme pain, with little relief, he is currently undergoing chemotherapy. The side effects of chemotherapy coupled with pain makes daily life challenging.
Eugene is a 53 year old kindhearted soul, a wonderful husband and father to two young children. We wish for our children to have as much joy and normalcy as possible while we battle this horrible disease. Medical bills, daily care and living expenses add to our emotional stress.
