Katy's Medical Bills

Katy is an incredibly hard working mother, wife and teacher. She has worked within the Preschool of America community for the past seven years. Working her way up from assistant teacher to lead all while pursuing her degree. Katy was here when we first opened our doors welcoming a totally new group of students into Preschool of America along with her own son. Katy has seen 6 Pre-K classes graduate and has led one Preschool graduation. Katy has been a huge part of the Preschool of America family throughout the years and has touched the lives of many students. She has held countless events at school for parents, helped students learn the days of the week, helped students learn to write their names, wiped tears, but most importantly she gave countless hugs and kisses. If you were lucky to have Ms. Katy as your child’s teacher, you remember her.

            Very suddenly, last week Ms. Katy was admitted to the hospital after appearing jaundice in school. After extensive testing at the hospital she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We are devastated for her and her family. The medical team is striving towards aggressively treating the cancer which involves a major surgery followed by extensive recovery and continued treatment. Katy has a long road ahead of her and of course will not be able to return to work until cleared by medical professions.

During this difficult time medical bills are mounting and we would like to do all we can to help. . Every dollar raised will go towards medical bills and assisting the family.
