Small Business Start-Up
Thank you for taking the time to look at my fundraiser. As some of you may or may not know, I am currently working on starting my own small business as a professional organizer. Organizing is one of my passions (aside from baking!) & I absolutely love to help people - what better way to focus on this passion than to start my own company?
The start-up costs are relatively low since I do not need or want my own office (who needs all that overhead?) as I am perfectly willing to work out of my home office. The catch is that like so many others, I have been out of work for almost six months & although my husband is working I am finding it hard to gather enough for my initial start up. I am looking to register my business as an LLC as well as purchasing a domain in advance for at least 1 year. Additionally I would also like to apply for membership with the National Association of Professional Organizers which provides members with training, education, resources & networking as well as an annual conference. Any funds left over would go towards advertising (i.e. car magnets/business cards, etc).
I understand how difficult life is financially for so many & please believe me when I say no amount is too small & all donations are so very much appreciated. For anyone not in a position to donate (which is completely understandable), I ask if you could please share my page.
