Dear family, friends & colleagues:
We are aiming to feed 25 families this Thanksgiving season.
According to the August 2014 Capital Area Food Bank Fact Sheet, 7.9% or 32,100 individuals are struggling to put food on the table in Prince William County. Sadly, children are at signficant risk. In Prince William County alone 12.2% or 14,200 children are at risk for not having enough food to eat.
You can help! We are collecting donations, in any amount, to feed 25 families this holiday season.
The collection will begin Sept 28th and run through Nov 13th. This will give us time to pay for the pre-cooked meals and arrange for delivery or pick-up.
