Out of Work Due to Illness

I've been sick for quite some time now. A couple of weeks may not seem like much, but with the pain I've been in, it seems like forever. I got sick the night before memorial day. It started with mild stomach cramps, which I thought was just because I hadn't eaten for several hours. I tried to eat, and when it made my stomach feel worse, I decided to go to sleep instead.
My boyfriend and I were supposed to go swimming with my family out in Louisville NE on memorial day. I woke up, got ready to go, and left in no pain. Soon after leaving, I started to feel extremely tired, nauseous, and dizzy. I told my family that I didn't know if I would be able to make it. My sister said she was tired of me disappointing her.
My boyfriend and I stayed back that day, and I slept most of it. I had been running a fever of 101°.
The next day (Tuesday) I called into work because my mild stomach cramps had turned into full blown unbearable pain. I tossed and turned and eventually the pain became so bad that I couldn't move or breathe without it getting worse.
Wednesday I thought I would be okay to work. I was no longer running a fever (after taking Tylenol), and my stomach felt better. I brushed it off as a small stomach bug, or maybe something I ate. My boyfriend and I left to pick up my sister so we could all go to work, and as we were driving, I began feeling very ill. I was light headed, dizzy, nauseated, and exhausted. I begged my boyfriend to stop at the gas station right by my parents house. I ran into the bathroom, and had really bad diarrhea. I washed my hands and wiped down my face with cold water, but still felt like I was going to pass out. I was sweating excessively. I sat in the handicap stall, on the floor, and asked for a ride from my mom. I had been in the bathroom so long that I told my boyfriend and sister to just go to work, and texted my boss that I wouldn't make it in again because I was sick in a gas station bathroom. My boyfriend and sister ended up turning back around to get me. I asked my sister to come into the bathroom, and she did. I burst into tears because I realized just how sick I felt. I asked her to buy me some Dramamine and a water bottle and bring it to me, to help relieve some of the light headedness, and dizziness I was experiencing. After about 15 more minutes, we left, and I felt fine for most of the ride to the apartment. However, about 2 blocks from the apartment, I started to feel extremely ill again, and knew I was going to vomit. I told my boyfriend that I was going to puke and he parked as fast as he could while I yanked my seatbelt off, flung open the door, and threw up out of the passenger door onto the parking lot of my complex. The rest of that day was spent sleeping and sipping water, afraid to eat.
On Thursday, I had my boyfriend take me to my moms and seeing how sick I was and how much pain I was in, she called the doctor and made an appointment for me that day. I went in with my boyfriend to the doctor, and had my blood drawn, got a pregnancy test, and an allergy shot. I left feeling just as sick as I already had, but I had a prescription for a medication that was supposed to help my nausea and help me to eat and drink without feeling so sick. I took that medicine when I got home, because I had been in the car most of the day I had begun to feel even worse, so I could eat something. The medicine did help me eat, though it didn't fully relieve my nausea.
Thursday night, the pain was worse than it had been the whole week. I couldn't sit or lay in any position that it didn't hurt, and then, because I found a spider crawling on me, I went into a panic, which caused hyperventilating, which caused my stomach pain to increase. I took gasx hoping it was gas pains, but after 30 minutes and no difference in pain, we went to the ER. They gave me two different pain medications, an IV to hydrate me, another pregnancy test, and a CT, along which a hepatitis panel. The CT came back normal, and the pregnancy tests both came back negative. I was prescribed oxycodone for my pain. We left the hospital and I slept well into the next day.
Over the next couple of days, I began to feel slightly better. I could mostly make it to the bathroom on my own, and I could tolerate moving around for small amounts of time without getting dizzy or light headed. I went in for a follow-up appointment with my doctor and found that my blood work was through the roof as far as my liver and gallbladder were concerned. Since I was still in pain, but in less pain, they decided to run my blood one more time to make sure the numbers were trending down and that I was getting better.
I received a call about a day later saying that there was still one number that was trending very high, and that they wanted me to receive a HIDA scan to check for gallbladder issues.
I spent a lot of time researching what gallbladder issues I could have and what the symptoms were and how they were treated etc. I decided to go forward with the scan despite not being covered by my insurance, and the scan being $1000. This scan was done on Tuesday June 12th. The results came back positive for Gallbladder dysfunction. I now have to meet with a general surgeon to discuss what this means, to what extent the damages are, and what my options are as far as treatment goes. Surgery is a very possible option, and may end up being my only option, which would put me out of work for longer.
Since I got sick, I have eaten nothing but organic fruits, veggies, and grains to help my body begin to heal on it's own, but the pain continues despite my efforts.

I have been out of work since getting sick and we have been depending on one source of income rather than two, mine usually being the larger income. We have many payments we have to make per month such as rent, electrical, car payment, car insurance, and for my student loans, and now medical expenses. With only one income, we are in desperate need of help from anyone willing to donate even a dollar, or a second of their time to click share.

Thank you for your help, support, and generosity.
