Help fund "Playin' on the Tracks"

Hi Everybody!
It has been one exciting year. After months of planning, hours work, and tons of personal investment, the show "Playin’ on the Tracks—LIVE!" is finally available on DVD. On August 1st and 2nd, 2014, we filmed our show at the Towne Centre Theatre in Brentwood Tennessee!!

I partnered up with an amazing team of professionals. They include Grammy award winning Producer & former keyboardist with Waylon Jennings, Barny Robertson, Ashleigh Prince with Tanasqui Films, Julian Chojnacki with Take 8 Films, some of Nashville’s finest musicians, and special guests “Carter’s Chord!”

It’s always been my vision to offer people an evening of excellent entertainment that interweaves music and stories, but even though our DVD is now available, our journey and our need for funding isn't over.  Our ultimate goal is for this film to enable us to interface with the talent buyers and presenters that can help bring it to local venues, community theatres or who knows, maybe even Broadway!

Though we haven't reached our funding goal, we reached a "no turning back" phase and pressed forward using our own funds to finish the film. We couldn't be more pleased with the final results and the caliber of professionalism and commitment to bring you a quality product that our entire team dedicated themselves to from start to finish.

The reality is, we still need $10,000.00 to see our entire vision through.

We are so grateful to those who have already generously given. We have refreshed our donation levels and rewards to include copies of the DVD as well as other great thank yous. Please help us by sharing this link with your friends, business associates, and any others you think would be interested in funding this campaign.

We are looking into 2015 with anticipation for a great year!!

Thank you, Friends!

Bio
The daughter of a Dust Bowl immigrant, Carter Robertson was born in Central California, and raised in the opposing worlds of her mother’s rural church culture and her father’s tendency to walk on the wild side. She has worked as an artist, writer, and background singer in the music industry for most of her life. She traveled and recorded as a member of Waylon Jennings' band for many years--first in the "Waylors" all through Country Music’s Outlaw era, and then again with Waymore's Blues Band the last 3 years before Waylon passed. Carter has recorded over 17 albums with Waylon and his wife Jessi Colter. Her voice is the one people hear singing backgrounds on songs such as "Ain't Livin" Long," "Luckenbach Texas" "Are You Ready for the Country," "Come with Me" etc. She & her Grammy Award winning husband Barny Robertson, were also a part of the legendary "Never Say Die" concert recorded live at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville TN. Her recording credits include Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, James Taylor, and many others.
Carter has worked with several different publishing companies, with 5 musicals and over 50 songs for children published.
In 2012 her critically acclaimed memoir "Playin' on the Tracks" was released, as well as her CD "Neighborhood of Secrets."
Most recently she and her husband Barny have partnered up to produced Carter's show "Playin' on the Tracks - LIVE!"
