On Saturday may 24th at 4:23am Jeremy saw a man walk quickly into his store and back to his office. He was being robbed at gun point. He was tied up and repeatedly threatened. He was hit in the head twice with the gun requiring 8 staples to close him up.
While at the hospital they ran a scan and found a large black mass on this brain. Upon further tests we learned he has a large tumor compressing his brain and it is very life threatening. He was immediately admitted into the ICU and we were just Informed that Jeremy's tumor is too large to be removed in one surgery. He will have surgery tomorrow to remove a large piece of it compressing his brain stem...and in 6-8 weeks from now he will undergo surgery #2. He will now be out of work for 3-4 months. If everything goes perfectly during his surgery, the BEST outcome is that he loses his hearing in his left ear and will be out of work for over 6 months between the two surgeries and recovery process. Jeremy is only 30 years old and a husband and father of three amazing children (ages 7, 5, and 1). This family will have countless expenses due to the tumor, surgery and head trauma from the robbery. They will also struggle through his recovery as his pay will be cut significantly during his time away from work while he recovers. Any help is endlessly appreciated.
