Peace Through Play Year End Appeal

"It will be a great day when......our schools get all the money they need and the air force has to hold a bake sale to build a bomber".
Maybe you've seen this quote. Its been around way too long. But it does speak to the still very necessary need of schools to engage in fundraising to provide what they need for children.
Right now Peace Through Play needs to raise funds through this annual fundraiser to continue to fix and enhance the physcial structures of the school.
We very much NEED to replace carpeting and install a cork floor in the school - currently the most sustainable "green" flooring available. This cost is just over $5000. We need to improve our playground fencing, making it safe and attractive ($1500), and we need $2000 of tree work around the school and our woods that children walk in every day.
We have a great Dad at Peace Through Play who is very involved in building the future of our school. Every so often when he picks up his child he loves to ask these big existential questions: what's the meaning of life, why are we here, what's the future of humankind?
We have wonderful discussions - and my answer is always the same: we're here to serve, to help humankind improve, to help create a world that works for everyone! My path and the path of Peace Through Play happens to be teaching children - teaching children how to be in this world!
