Help Sassy Save Her Vision!

Suffolk Humane Society is raising money for Sassy, a kitten who was born with Eyelid Agenesis, a birth defect that keeps the eyelid from forming properly. The part of the eye that is not protected from the eyelid can can easily get scratched from hair and eyelashes, which can be very painful. Sassy also can't properly keep her eyes hydrated, so she relies on daily medication. 
The $900 we hope to raise for Sassy will help to pay for cryosurgery. Cryosurgery involves lasering off the eyelashes and hairs surrounding the eyelid so that they do not continue to come into regular contact with the eye. This will allow Sassy to live a normal, pain free life. We would be very thankful if we could be able to provide this surgery for Sassy as soon as possible so she can be placed into a forever home.
