I am asking you take a few moments to read about my cause and find a way to support me on this mission!!!
People of Bosnia are struggling!
There is no government that will assist people in need! They only look out for themselves as always!!!!
Houses in Bosnia are being swept away by flood waters. Mountains are collapsing. Mud slides are moving the position of mines left behind after post the 90' civil war. A state of emergency has been declared in parts of Bosnia, Croatia and Serbia, which are suffering some of the worst flooding on record in 120 years.
People have lost their homes and everything they managed to collect over the last 20 some years post the 90's civil war.
No food, electricity or ironically water. They need everything.
Your prayers or monetary donations are requested.

***If you wish to donate items the following is needed: personal hygiene products, diapers, formula, cleaning supplies, shovels, gloves. Please label bags or boxes you use for packaging to expedite the donations in Bosnia. All donated items can be dropped off at the Bosnian Culture Center at 2839 Eastern Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI starting with Monday 5/19 - Thursday 5/22, between hours of 5 PM - 9 PM. ****

My name is Daniela Deppe (Dzonlagic) born and raised in Sarajevo residing in Coopersville, MI. I have no relations to any of the people this money will be going to. Maglaj is the one town I choose to support for this reason as I have no relatives living in this town or its surroundings. My family will make a detour during our vacation in August and with help of Maida Asic we will be personally visiting 6 families and offering monetary assistance for their house repair.
Maida is a Jericho Foundation scholarship recipient and originally rom Maglaj.
With Maida's help we hope to identify those whose needs have not been met yet.
As promised, earlier in June, we will be sharing each families story with you, upon our return.
