Are you a ball player? Do you have a child who is a ball player? Are you trying to take your game to the next level? If so, Rise Up Hoops can help you reach your goals and become the player you’ve always desired to be.
Rise Up Hoops found it's beginning because of Jacky Nikic’s deep passion for basketball. Her desire to help others in combination with her immense love for the game are the ultimate drive behind Rise Up Hoops. After suffering a serious concussion, but before the doctors told Jacky she would never be able to play again, God gave her a vision for what she was to do once her playing career came to an end. She didn’t realize that was right around the corner but what she did realize was that she was at some point going to create an environment where girls can come train, and learn every aspect of the game of basketball, physical and mental, while being surrounded by positivity and good role models. Jacky’s main goal and focus is to help as many hoopers as possible to reach their goals by taking their game to the next level and making their dreams come true. This got put into effect September 2013 and brought her to this point today. Rise Up Hoops is growing and Jacky is helping as many people as possible but a big piece of the puzzle is missing. A gym to call home.
This is where YOU can take part in the next phase of making this dream come true. The only thing missing is a full time gym to call home. Bouncing around from gym to gym, park to park proves to be very difficult and time consuming which limits the amount of on court attention for each player and their needs.
