Eagle Project

Hello my name is Kenny Clarkston.  I am starting the process of my Eagle Project.  This is the highest achievement wattainable in boy scouting.  I am rebuilding a bridge on a trail at Forest Glen Preserve that has been washed out.  This project is going to be challenging, timely and costly to say the least bit I am up for it.  I will be needing to raise $4,000 to complete this task.  This is an extremely expensive Eagle Project but I love nature and hiking so this is why I decided on rebuilding this bridge.  The enjoyment of people hiking this trail is worth the hard work that will be put into this project.  
My scouting career started in the first grade.  I have been scouting for nine years now and love every minute.  I am currently a member of the Order of the Arrow and have served many different positions for our troop.  At my 8th grade graduation I was presented with the Citizenship Award from the American Legion.  
I have attended a variety of camps all over Illinois.  I have also been to camps in Tennessee, West Virginia and Michigan.  I am going to Philmont this summer in New Mexico and Sea Base in the Florida Keys next summer.  
I continue to service my community through Scouting.  I volunteer at the VA, Santas Anonymous, Festival of Trees and the American Legion.  
Please help me achieve my goal of $4000, so I can successfully complete this Eagle Project!!!
