I Need Help After Florence

My name is Lynn Walker and I live in a small town in Duplin County, NC. and we just went through Hurricane Florence. We have taken in unwanted cats for a number of years and given them a home. I have always been able to support them on what I earn working although money has always been tight. However, with the storm, I have been unable to work for over two weeks. I work from home and my electricity was off for a week and then internet for an additional nine days. I resumed work yesterday but I am out of funds now. While I have been able to secure some donations of pet food, it is not enough. On top of that, the cat in the cover photo is now sick with an infected tooth and needs to see the vet. There is no way he can make it until I get paid. I lost his mother to cancer last year and do not want to lose him as well. 

Additionally, my electricity and internet are both due to be cut off for the bills currently owed before I get paid, which will put me back out of work. I used the money that should have paid them to buy additional food for the cats to try and see them through, plus supplies for securing the house, gassing up the truck, non-perishable food and all the other expenses that come with a hurricane, even if it does not wipe out your house, which luckily the trees all fell to the side. After Florence was downgraded to a Cat 1, I had no idea we would be out of power and wired internet for this long, resulting in this much time out of work.

I know everyone needs help right now in this area. I am just asking that if anyone has anything left to donate that they would please consider helping me and the cats out of this mess. You have no idea how much it would mean to me, and I would definitely return the favor in the future if you needed me to.
