i can't imagine the pain of loosing a child and i'm sure any amount of money won't cause that pain to go away. your donation of any amount will help alleviate ryan's family of some of the funeral costs and loss of income during their time of grief.

Instagram friend's are pouring their hearts out to the Cruz family (Instagram @babyboybakery) after a tragic loss. A short life came to an end when Ryan was struck by a truck when chasing after a frisbee 4 days ago. I can't even begin to imagine what this family is going through. If you'd like to help out with funeral cost/loss of income during this time of grief, please, make a donation of any increment. Thank you!

My momma knows exactly what you're going through. We lost my sister June 14. Shes still in the Sonoma Co. Coroners while we try to raise the money to get her home and her services done. My mom has lupus and was in and out of the hospital from stress and grief when my gma and gpa died in 2011. (they diied 4 months apart) Now her first born child..MY big sis..is gone and we cant afford to do ANYTHING/ Not get her home, not give her her services. Im in college @ LeCordonBleu in Portland and cant even afford for me to go home and be with her . A detective at the coroners told US to make a page here. Mom was too.....i think hurt. It was too hard to talk about why we need the help. So I made it. Im so incredibly sorry about the loss of your baby ...my ma is going through the same hell...i wish I could raise this kind of help for her. Not just to get sis home and all..but to help ma. She is now raising my 5 yr old nephew too. Ma's almost 50..she sure loves him though. She sure could use some support like this. What can I do to get this kind of attention to the page I made for my sister???

I get emotional every time I read about this story...He seemed like an adorable little boy...I have a 2 years old with the same curly locks as ryan, and it hurts to think any mother can go thru this pain. It seems to overwhelming. Tears come out every time I see his precious little face, and think why did this have to happen. I do not know the family personally, but it still leaves an ache in my heart. Little Ryan will be your angel from now and and I hope everyone who knew him, even those that didn't, can keep his memory alive. Such a beautiful little boy.

What an amazing thing that so many people have done for a family that they don't even know. Ryan has touched so many hearts (including mine) in his short life, I am so proud to be apart of this community of the Family of God! God has chosen to use this tragedy for good by by reminding us that we are a family and should be there for each other in a time of need. Dan and Jacqui you will continue to be in my prayers, God Bless you!

More than plenty? Surely you are joking! I HAVE lost a son. And no money in the world could ever heal my pain. Still, we came home every few days when he was in the hospital and it was NICE to see cards in the mail. This means we could eat out, redo his room So his siblings wouldn't be sad, open a FOUNDATION! No amount of money is enough, because we know the family will see it fit. And if they want to take a $60,000 vacation; RIGHT ON THEM!!!!! Shame shame shame on you! And prayers that you Never EVER become part of our empty arms club!! :(

It sad what people will say without thinking. Everybody has a right to their own opinion but some of those thoughts need to be kept inside..im sure going into this no one expected the amazing generosity people are giving. No amount of money can replace the lost of a loved one especially a child.. Our kids are supposed to out live us as parents, not tje other way around. So when this happens no words can explains what those parents are going through. You give out of the goodness of your heart you shouldn't expect anything in return. How much is to much..I truly dont think anyone can answer that..I think this is amazing how people are responding for a family they do not know and never may know..God is great even in times like this..its not anyone business how this money will be spent. So for the goodness of the family please keep you comments to yourself if they are not meant for good.. May God continue to give this family the strength they need when they need it most and let them know you are holding them and lil ryan is safe.. Jeremiah 29 : 11

Let's keep the attention on this family. Your compassion and condolences are greatly appreciated. Those of you who've donated and continue to share so others may provide this family with even more support, THANK YOU! To those who've held auctions or collected donations for items you've made, THANK YOU! No amount will ever take the pain away but having such a large community grieving with them is never a bad thing. Let's breed out the negativity in the world with one small random act of kindness at a time.

Christine Walker, I have a son who is one. If anything ever happened to him I do not think I would be able to function for a long time if ever again. I agree with Sharon and Lori. The Saldanas need positive energy. I hope Dan and Jacqui can take all the time they need for as long as they need it. No amount of money can ever bring their baby back. I hope they will never have to worry about anything financially ever again. Thinking of this family always. My this sweet baby rest peacefully. Only kind comments please.

No Christine Walker, I don't think "56,000 is plenty." I would love to see it double so this family can take all the time they need off. Maybe they will create some sort of foundation in his memory or help another family that experiences the same lost. Instead of being touched by other's compassion and generosity you choose to leave an ugly message. Wow, how sad.
