Hello friends and family!
I have come across the opportunity of a lifetime to join my girlfriend on an adventure in South America. As most of you know, I am currently in physician assistant school and this is my last summer free of responsibility before my career begins. I am one of many 20-somethings in the U.S. with a substantial financial burden acquired along my path to higher education and I never expected to make this dream a reality. With this exciting opportunity I hope to come back with experiences that will shape my view of the world and my ability to give back throughout the rest of my life and my career.
I will be traveling from mid-June to the end of August, volunteering in various capacities and hope to allocate this money towards food and housing to sustain myself. I will be working on an organic farm in Ecuador through the WWOOF organization and would love to leave my host farm with some tools or monetary assistance to aid in sustaining their farm as well.
I have established the funding to purchase flights and pay for some of the trip, however I would appreciate any help from my family and friends to ensure safe travels for the remainder of the trip. Any donation at all is deeply appreciated and will contribute to the experiences I can't wait to share with you all!
