Amber's Mission Trip to Sozo Uganda

Dear Friends and Family,
One month ago my church shared with all of us about Sozo, an orphanage in Uganda, Africa that saves children living in neglect and poverty from despair. In 2010 they began taking in orphans who were living in a facility that was corrupt and brought them into a safe, clean home that feeds, clothes, educates and most of all, teaches them the love of Jesus. Sozo is not just taking better care of the children, they are making leaders for Christ that will reach their own village to create more disciples and change the world we live in.
Bridgepoint Church is taking a group to Sozo from December 3-December 12, 2015. The group will join in the daily lives of the children, helping with chores and cleaning, transporting them for medical care and giving daily devotionals. I’ve seen probably hundreds of mission trips and have never felt sure until now that God wanted me to go. I have no doubt and am absolutely excited to be part of what the word says in James is “pure religion”, “Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress..” James 1:27.
I’m inviting you to be one of my sponsors on this amazing journey. The trip expenses are predicted to be $2,700 depending on the cost of the flight. There is an additional cost of a visa to enter the country for $100 and vaccinations and passport renewal fees. I am raising $3,000.00 and believe that God will provide every cent. Any amount that you, or anyone you know who would be interested in helping is cherished.
