Meet the Lefave family. Some of the best friends you will ever know!
Busy with work and a Theocratic schedule, they still make time to encourage friends with get togethers, and taking care of those in thier congregation. They RARELY ever get away as a family because of the demands of taking care of their aging parents, and severely mentally and physically disabled brother, who just moved in with them.
In ALL THIS Tristen has NEVER complained about sharing a room with his disabled uncle, babysitting his younger siblings or any of the other sacrifices he has made to share his childhood home with extended family. TODAY TRISTEN SITS in a hospital bed over 1000 miles from home, because he got severely ill while on a family vacation to see the the World Headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses and US Branch headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses in NY. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for the family to get away on a spiritually encouraging trip to strengthen the Lefaves. The Thursday they were going to see the Patterson complex, Tristen's condition took a turn for the worse, and he was in so much pain he had to be admitted to the hospital! The family also missed the Annual Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses, that they planned on attending in the Historic Stanley theater in NJ.
Now, a very risky surgery may be needed and he is already so weak! Vacation plans are shot. We don't know how much this lengthy hospital visit is going to cost, or the surgery, but the missed work, and longer stay is going to be a huge BURDEN on an already OVER-WORKED family!
We would ALL love to see Tristan back in great health and for the family to come again to truly ENJOY all that Jehovah has to offer in this special part of the country!
If we can all help defray the costs of this vacation and hospital stay, maybe the Lefaves can truly get the break they deserve. Please pray that Jehovah helps them deal with this heartache, and at the same time, if you can donate a little to help, I KNOW it will mean the world to them.
