Supporting Deb Black-Komendecki

Donation protected
Last night, April 30, 2014, our friend, colleague and co-worker Deb Black-Komendecki was faced with a sudden and devastating tragedy on her long awaited trip to spend time with her husband Joe. Upon arriving in North Dakota, and waiting anxiously for Joe to meet her at the airport, Deb was faced with the news that Joe had passed away suddenly earlier that evening. Deb is currently in North Dakota working on the service plans staying as strong as she can, colleagues have spoken to her and are in touch to help in any way needed. Joe Komendecki was a long time EMT-I in the Springfield area for better than 25 years, as well as a Respiratory Therapist at Mercy Medical center, and traveling Respiratory Therapist for Aurius Medical in North Dakota. Joe was well liked by all who worked with him, was a true professional professional and was known for his great sense of humor and huge heart. At this time we are looking for any donations that you can contribute to assist Deb in the costs she faces in bringing Joe home and providing the services he deserves. We have set a goal for $2,000 but hope to raise as much as we can in surplus of that figure. Our thoughts and prayers are with Deb and her and Joe's family, and we hope to greatly impact Deb as positively as we can in her time of need. Thank you all in advance. OPEIU Local 6 Stewards
