Our Sex Trafficking Ministry in The Gambia, thanks you for taking the time to read this.
Our Goverment has no trained trauma counselors at all.
Its under 18 shelter is for 100 kids, so you can only imagine how many abuse victims are there.
In the school ministry we run, we are uncovering more and more sexual abuse. think of that being suffered by the sex trafficking victims we are trying to uncover.
We have found a competent quailified psychologist, of African descent, who will discount her fees. But we need some help please.
Imagine a child you know, needing such counseling, in a society where there is no social welfare infrustructure and therefore no funding available, unless it is you or us.
We are here, it's us;
Will you help us please.
We seek to raise this modest amount immediately as our Two Youth Workers are expanding their Preventative Work in local schools.
Each session with a counselor currently costs $40 which we can only subsidise $10 of out of our pockets, just like you.
