In Memory of Baby Noah

Donation protected
In late June 2017, our world came crushing down on us as we received the official diagnosis from the doctors. Noah had Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a rare and aggressive type of blood cancer. His clinical presentation throughout his care had proved challenging for care teams and was complex, to say the least. On March 13th, (our daughters birthday) we lost our son, Noah, to this cruel disease.

Treatment was protocol until he relapsed in middle of his chemotherapy treatment and then again towards the end of his life, ultimately triggering his removal from treatment for an inevitable death.

Dose after dose, we watched his medical team push drugs into him and while on the surface we wince; Deep down, we knew it was a necessary evil for him. He was strong. Stronger than I know we could ever be. An inspiration and reminder of our intrinsic strength.

Today, we ask for your support, in the shadows of our worst nightmares, to help us through this. Apparent expenses like medical costs are usually understood by onlookers, but the horrific rippling effect that pediatric cancer presents is not always clear. Transportation costs, quality-of-life costs (events/outings for date nights and for our daughter), incidentals such as hospital food, childcare/schooling, and loss of income add up quickly.

Finally, we ask that you stand with us in a healthy community to provide encouragement, and support.

We thank you all!
