A Veteran Final Honor

Donation protected
Lazarus Poole was a friend to everyone that crossed his path. He will give you the shirt off his back and the shoe's off his feet if you needed them. I would like to dedicate this GoFundMe to help assist with his burial expenses. I would also like to thank him for his service to our country as a Veteran of the United State's Army.

Lazarus was injured several years ago from a very devastating car accident. He was later diagnosed as being paralyzed from waist down. He never recovered from the accident, instead he began to get worse. Due to the severity of his injuries, he had to be transported to Texas to be taken care of by the VA hospital, which was considered to be one of the best in the United States. He remained there for several years with no issues other than what he was there for, as time passed things begin to turn for the worse. Because just a few short month's later, he was sick again. He began to discover more and more issues with his body, heart failure, kidney problems, infections and so forth. Constantly
he was becoming more sick day by day. While Lazarus knew this was bad, he still continued to fight and asked for care. He fought as long and as hard as his body could in the coming month's and never complained about anything.

After all that he encountered from the day of his accident, several surgeries and treatments, Lazarus never fully recovered from all the sickness he had to endure. He became so weak that he couldn't fight anymore. He knew his time was drawing near, he became sick again and had to go back to the hospital at that time he was told there was nothing more they could do for him. Lazarus tried his best to rehabilitate and gain strength, but his condition worsened over time.

On Tuesday, June 15, 2018, Lazarus finally realized that God was ready for him to come home, God was preparing him for greater things.
Lazarus had no health or life insurance and the income he had could only cover his room and border. Just imagine only getting a small amount of income monthly to support himself and all of his needs, it leaves him with nothing to pay for life nor health insurance. So, as of right now, his family has no clue how they are going to provide a burial for him
.
Thank you for reading his story. Any donation in any amount is appreciated. If you can not donate financially at this time, please at least share this link on social media a few time's over the next couple of week's.
On behalf of on behalf of Lazarus, we would like to thank the VA hospital for all that they did to help Lazarus thru his journey of life while he was in their care.

Also, on behalf of all of Lazarus's family and friend's, THANK YOU for all of your support.
