Meet Max

My name is Jennifer Patterson and this is Max. He is a 6 year old lab mix who recently had surgery for a tibia plateau osteotomy. He ruptured his CrCL which is like an ACL in humans. Unfortunately dogs do not heal like humans so surgery is a must. My husband  Jim and I knew immediately the we had to help Max and we would worry about the cost later. When we talked to a surgeon he said when this is all said and done our cost would be between  $5000.00 and $6000.00.  Jim and I have been dog owners for almost 30 years and the APL has always been our go to for many reasons. We love animals and helping them find loving homes. Max has been a joy to have and being that he is only 6 years old he has many great and adventurous  years to come.I say adventurous because he loves to be outdoors and go for ALOT of walks.He loves to chase a squirrel in our backyard, we call him squirrely man. He is so much a part of our family that he is like our child. The prayers and support that we have received for Max have been so helpful for us and to be able to pay off these bills would definately help and be much appreciated.
