Kidney Transplant

In December 2017 I was hospitalized and that’s when I found out that both my kidneys are low functioning (30%). Upon discharge of the hospital I met with a nephrologist through my physician . Lots of tests were conducted and because of my age the best way to save my life is a kidney transplant. Anyone with B or O blood type can be a possible match. I’m pleading with everyone that could help in any way. My appetite is very low and so is my energy level. I pray a donor be found soon.  Every little bit counts.  All funds goes towards the surgery and for care after the surgery.
Here are a list of just the major expenses:
Test, labs and exams prior to surgery.
Evaluation of potential kidney donors.
Follow up care after the kidney transplant  for both patient and donor.
Physical And occupational therapy.
The cost of anti- rejection medication directly after surgery ( this is to ensure my body do not reject the kidney which exceeds$10,000 per year for the lifetime of the kidney)
Blood.
Fees for transplant surgeons and operating room personnel .
Loss of income during recovery  (6months)
Insurance and medical premiums, co-pays, and deductibles .

I have completed my evaluation and is officially on the list. 
The next step is finding a donor. A living donor is better because the life span of the kidney is longer . One person reached out to us interested in being a donor so if all goes well the next step would be surgery.
