This communication is being sent to you regarding the New Breed Life Arts & Educational Association, Inc's reading Initiative entitled "NBLAreads (ROROA)". RORA is New Breed's Mission that means-Read One, Read All. This initiative was developed to motivate our youth and young adults to read books for entertainment, and also to encourage reading as it is important and can be fun.
The New Breed intends to popularize our mission- (RORA) "Read One, Read All" and re-define Reading as a Competitive Sports Program. The NBLAreads has been registered with the Writer's Guild of America.
The new Breed will kick off NBLAreads this coming January 2018 with our first reading contest (NBLAreads.com Pilot). The New Breed would like to implement the NBLAreads initiative and premiere "Talon of God" by Author, Dr. Wesley Snipes and Co-Author, Ray Norman, and "What Does Love Look Like" by Monica G. Wood, as the first books to read in phase I of the Pilot.
The NBLAreads Contest will require young adults to read "Talon of God". For participation in the contest, these young adults must meet the age requirement of 16 years through 24 years, and initially, must live in the NYC area. We anticipate increasing the competition to Statewide, then nationally, in futurephases of NBLAreads.com (RORA).
After reading the book, each contestant will write and submit an essay, providing an overview of "The Talon of God" Novel, which must be composed of no more than two (2) pages. The contestants for "What Does Love Look Like" will be required to write a one (1) page essay about the book. Cash prizes, Trophies, Medals, and Tee Shirts will be awarded to the winners that submit the best essays in the contest.
The NBLAreads contest is introducing reading to our youth and young adults as a Competitive Sports Program, in the same manner that Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, and many other sports are fashioned. This contest will allow youth and young adults to have an oppurtunity to compete, vie for awards, and to become better educated at the same time, non-violently.
Our Mission, "Read One, Read All" (RORA) will assist youth and young adults to increase their levels of concentration, hence, their levels of intelligence. It is also anticipated that all participants will find great satisfaction and achievement from taking part in the NBLAreads.com (RORA)-The Competitive sport of reading.
The success of this program depends on cooperation and support from Authors, Publishers, Book Sellers, Organizations and upwardly conscious citizens of the community.
The New Breed will be able to provide these books to participants in the contest free of charge. in order to initiate the first Contest (The Phase I Pilot), we will distribute 100 books to students in Secondary Level Schools, After Programs, Selected Colleges and Martial Arts Centers throughout New York City. In addition, we will distribute 40 books entitled, "What Does Love Look Like" by Monica G. Wood, to the children participating in Elementary Schools. Your donations will assist in providing the above-mentioned awards to the Contestants and also ensure that the program will continue, ongoing on the national level.
