Thyroid Radiotherapy for my Moochie

Hello! 
I am Riley and I just got bloodwork done for my 11 year old cat, Moochie, they have told me that she has Hyperthyroidism, which is where one thyroid gland is producing too much hormones and pretty much puts the cat system into hyperdrive. 
I've been told about Radioiodine Therapy.
Just one injection of Radioiodine (I-131) safely destroys the complete thyroid tumor – wherever its location – in roughly 98-99% of cases. Having cured more than 70,000 cats, Radioiodine therapy is now the expert-approved, side-effect free, cost-effective solution for Feline Hyperthyroidism.

I want to keep my cat around as long as possible, and I recently just moved to Tennessee where I could take her with me. I've only had her for about three weeks now and giving her the anti-thyroid drug makes me nervous. The radioiodine therapy seems to be the most effective but also the most costly.
