Get Me Home

Hey guys,

Many of you already know my story so I won't go into the details of the reality I've been existing in over the past 8 months. I've been so blessed with having incredible people around me, every one of you who stood by me when I lost my home and my daughters; when I had false accusations made against me you stood with me in disbelief, when I had no where to sleep you gave me a home, in the ongoing fight to be in my girls lives you gave sound advice assuring me I'd get to be with them again, and all leading up to the point where my visa got curtailed, you offered me marriage proposals and basements to hide in so I could stay in the country with you. The endless hugs and support have been priceless, I can't imagine what I would done without you.

Unfortunately I had to play by the rules and left the UK almost three weeks ago. I landed in Cape Town and sat at the airport for 7 hours wondering where the fuck I was supposed to go and what I was supposed to do.. I caught a bus into the city and wasn't even there for an hour before getting mugged and my wallet being stolen. Luckily I had my bank card in my shoe, and all they took was the little cash I had in my wallet. I never did like that wallet anyway.. but the experience reminded me why I left this country in the first place.

I've spent the last of my money on hostiles and applying for a visa to New Zealand to go see my parents and brothers out there who I haven't seen for three years, this visa only last 6 months but it gives me the chance to make some dollar and spend some much needed time with family. Acquiring a work visa for the UK is almost impossible for me and shit loads of money, but there are other options for getting back there, there's a visitors visa option which lasts for 2 years to which I could travel back and forth into the country. I wouldn't be able to work but it would give me the chance to keep fighting for my girls through the courts and mediation services.
I'm currently waiting out the next three weeks for this new zealand visa to come through, and then the plan is to fly out and leave this black hole of a country.

You guys know me, I hate asking for help.. but I'm in a place where I don't have an option at the moment. I need the money to get out of here as soon as I can, and to also get back to the UK hopefully by the end of the year for a visit. This country is easy to get stuck in, and as a white male I have zero to no chance of making enough money to get out. What I had left of the money I earned in Plymouth I've burned through between backpackers, the NZ Visa, and still on solicitor fees back in the UK fighting for my daughter's.
I'm asking if you guys could potentially help me, even just on the plane ticket out of here and for this next visa.

My soonest plane out of here after the estimated time of getting my visa would leave on February 28th. The plane ticket is £720. The fees for the visa application is £337. I'm just trying to raise these initial costs, if I could raise more for food and lodging inbetween that would help even more, but it's not essential to what this is about.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any contribution if you're able to help. Every little bit makes a massive difference.

Here's to having a cold one when we're reunited.

I love you all,

Mitch
