Little League trip For Henry!

When I joined Facebook it was to get to know more people in the baseball and softball industry. I have been blessed to meet and get to know many great people. One of them is Henry Odong from Uganda. Considering I have over 400 friends in common with Henry, I know that many of you know his story. His faith in God and love for his players is seen on a regular basis. Kids practicing without cleats or even shoes at times. I know that these kids don't complain about anything and many of our kids get new bats and cleats every season.

Henry's personal team didn't make it but another one of his area teams did qualify for the LLWS. This means that Henry has to pay his own way to get to Williamsport. The team wants him there, he wants to be there, so we are going to do what we can here in America to make sure he gets here to watch Uganda follow-up what he has started in his country. Henry is a proud man and he shouldn't have to ask for support....we can give it to him!

I will be posting a link to a fundraising page so keep your eyes open. He needs $2000 for the trip and whatever we raise over that amount will go directly to his teams for equipment that they so desperately need.
