Little League trip For Henry!

$2,250 of $2,500 goal

Raised by 34 people in 31 months
When I joined Facebook it was to get to know more people in the baseball and softball industry. I have been blessed to meet and get to know many great people. One of them is Henry Odong from Uganda. Considering I have over 400 friends in common with Henry, I know that many of you know his story. His faith in God and love for his players is seen on a regular basis. Kids practicing without cleats or even shoes at times. I know that these kids don't complain about anything and many of our kids get new bats and cleats every season.

Henry's personal team didn't make it but another one of his area teams did qualify for the LLWS. This means that Henry has to pay his own way to get to Williamsport. The team wants him there, he wants to be there, so we are going to do what we can here in America to make sure he gets here to watch Uganda follow-up what he has started in his country. Henry is a proud man and he shouldn't have to ask for support....we can give it to him!

I will be posting a link to a fundraising page so keep your eyes open. He needs $2000 for the trip and whatever we raise over that amount will go directly to his teams for equipment that they so desperately need.

Thank you to everyone that has supported this effort so far. We are so close and I want to get Henry the funds this weekend so he can get a seat on the plane to Williamsport. Please share and help in any way that you can.

Okay , My name's Ronnie , I'm 17 years old and from Venezuela. Primarily , I'm very excited that Uganda will go to play baseball in Little League World Series 2015 , I'm clear that's very difficult to get over there and to play that championship because I did It in 2011 and I felt that feeling and It's so amazing. I consider that Henry Odong must to go with Uganda team this year , I really support them because his job isn't easy ,It's very difficult to put in practice and to get ready a lot of guys to play baseball and play with the heart and go to Poland to win the Regional Tournament and later go to the world series , It's necessary have faith , heart and play with love , he was the first baseball coach and get Uganda guys to the world series , I really support him and admire him. Henry Odong must to go with Uganda team this year to the Little League Baseball World Series in South Williamsport , PA. Every year I'm checking Uganda baseball tournament , MEA Regional Tournament ( in the present ) Europe - Africa Regional Tournament , Henry Odong with Ugandan guys did history in baseball to the world level , Is It easy ? I can't wait to visit Uganda myself, so I am happy to help Henry get here. From what I understand enough money has been raised, but here is some extra if he has additional expenses. I know he will put the money to good use.
