Type 1 Diabetics cannot survive without insulin. Insulin should be affordable for all. Unfortunately, the price of insulin has skyrocketed in recent years, making it a financial burden for those who even have insurance. Michael recently switched to a new car dealership, so he is still under his 90 day probation before he can get health insurance. One vial will cost him $350 (and he usually requires more than one vial a month). If you can afford to donate even something small, we would be so grateful. It breaks my heart that we can't rely on our healthcare system to literally SAVE OUR LIVES, and give us easier access to the medication we rely on daily. I don't receive a large enough prescription myself or I would share mine with him. Thank you to anyone who can help!
