Veteran’s Service dog needs help.

My name is rick villa.  I was an infantryman in the US Army  and deployed with 10TH MOUNTAIN in Afghanistan during operation OEF 2010-2011. I got out of the service in 2014.   I am 60% disabled due to combat related injuries. I am only sharing my personal story in hopes to tell you how much  my dog has helped me overcome  and adapt to the civilian life. If you have had the chance to meet a veteran then you know how hard it is to ask for help or to reach out to anyone even more so  Strangers. I have run out of funds and things to sale. I am currently attending the firefighting academy at Columbus state in hopes to become a first responder. Due to the schedule at the academy I have quit my job and only live on what the military provides to me through the GI bill. I am asking for help to take care of my service dog Crixus and his medical expenses.  He is a 2 year old blue fawn pit bull. He is everything to  me. We have a lot of pictures from our adventures outdoors which are a daily thing. I owe him my life and will do anything to save his.He has been at OSU veterinary hospital for the past 5 days fighting for his life due to an illness. I have exhausted all my financial avenues and need help since his condition hasn’t worsen but it has not improved .i am hopeful that any day now his condition will turn for the better and so are the doctors but I cannot no longer afford to keep him there.without this aggressive treatment his chances of survival drastically drop. anything that you can help us out with is greatly appreciated and if you are not able to please share this campaign  and keep him in your thoughts.
