Elderly man needs help

We have an elderly friend, an 84 year old gentleman, whose house needs repairs.  The small house is 56 years old.  First was his roof.  I put up the money to purchase the materials and my son, boyfriend and I have put a new roof on his house. We also found that his well pump was not working.  We now have a plumber working to try to fix this. The soffit,fascia, siding and window frames are rotting away on his house and need to be replaced.  He lives in a very basic way. He has no central heat or air conditioning. I would love to get him a propane furnace and ductwork.  I have friends who are contractors in these fields and may be able to help with free or cheap labor if we can purchase materials.  We are also trying to assist him with hay and feed for his cattle until his fields green up.  He raises cattle to pay his bills. Raising cattle is a hard job and doesn't pay much.  Any help anyone can offer would be so greatly appreciated.  When he put his new roof on his house last Sunday, he told me that was the kindest thing anyone has ever done for him.
