Olivia Marie

This go fund me page is for a special 4 year old named Olivia Formosa. Many know her story but for those who don’t, this is a short version. At age 2, a large mass was found around her cerebellum, around her brain stem and down her spinal cord. This area is critical for movement, swallowing, etc. The tumour was found to be cancerous. She was taken into surgery right away and since then she has been through many more surgeries along with chemo and radiation sessions. Each surgery has been a huge risk for her. While getting back on her feet, we found out that Olivia's tumour grew back. She had another surgery and sadly woke up from it paralyzed on the left side. But she has been getting stronger everyday. She is now staying at Bloorview in Toronto. Bloorview is a children's rehabilitation facility. Liv has physio, occupational therapy and speech everyday to get her better. She also is going through radiation every weekday morning for 6 weeks.

Because of the new weakness, Olivia's mom had to find an accessible home to move to. She will need to purchase medical equipment for the home as well. She will also have to buy a washer, dryer and other furniture for their new home. All donations will be going towards making life better for Olivia, her parents, and her sister.

Olivia’s family does not know that this is being made for their little family so they are in for a wonderful surprise. But we know that there are lots of people who want to help and would love to make their lives a little easier. Would love to take some stress off of the family’s shoulders. Olivia definitely gets her strength from her parents.
