Help us save our beloved Laura Kali Shakti, Mother to three beautiful young daughters, Beloved Wife, Teacher, Dancer, Yogini, Cherished Friend and bright beautiful loving light!
On May 18, 2018, Laura was diagnosed with Stage 4 Terminal Triple Negative Breast Cancer for which there is no cure, only palliative treatment.
Previously the lump had been diagnosed as mastitis, an infection, and a cyst. There were no other symptoms of cancer anywhere in her body including blood panels.
She was told by her first oncologist in Las Vegas, where she lives with her husband and three daughters, that she had several months to live. Her second oncologist told her the same thing, that they could suppress it temporarily through chemotherapy, but there was no cure and she had a few months to live. A second visit to an oncologist gave her the same grim prognosis.
For the following eight months, Laura has been treating herself through natural measures based on her years as a healer and her husband's expertise as a Master Chinese Herbalist. She has been using herbs, vitamins, natural infusions, yoga and meditation for healing measures, but it's time for more help.
She recently learned the cancer has spread to her spine, but not to her organs and brain. There is a cancer care clinic in Reno, Nevada that has offered specialized complementary and conventional treatment for her cancer, but it is not covered by her insurance.
We want Laura to be able to see her daughters grow up! We want to save our beautiful teacher, mentor, and friend! Laura walks through the world, touching everyone with her grace, kindness, wisdom, and deep joy! Help us save her!
