Justice for Caleb

At 4:00am on July 9th we were woken up by pounding on the front door only to find a policeman sadly standing there to inform us that Caleb’s truck was stolen from the front of the house then completely totaled.  The 15-year-old thief fled from the cops when they attempted to pull him over for a tail light being out. If the kid wouldn’t have wrecked, the police said they wouldn’t have caught him, as he was going upwards of 130mph before flipping it at least 10 times and being ejected almost 500 yards at exit 33 on I-77. Thank God they did because he also reportedly stole a gun from a neighbor’s vehicle so who knows who else he would victimize.  Unfortunately because the thief is a minor child and both auto and home owner’s insurance not covering anything, Caleb is left with nothing except frustration, anger, disappointment, and a payment on a truck that no longer exists. Not only is this such a horrific experience, it’s completely unfair to someone who was inside sleeping, totally innocent, and minding his own business. If you know Caleb, you know he is an extremely hard worker who loves his truck and this one was very special. He poured his sweat, money,  and time into building that truck into exactly what he wanted and earned (fast and sooo much fun!) only to have it selfishly ripped from him and left to pay for it. You can replace a truck, the equipment he put into it, and the tools and toolbox that he lost but not the memories, hard work, or the fairness in all of this.  I’m reaching out to support Caleb and show him that not everyone in this world is bad. He didn’t deserve this and works extremely hard for everything he has. I’m asking that if anyone is able to help in raising even just a little bit to show support for Caleb, that would mean the world to us. Thank you everyone, for even just listening and sharing this story to bring some justice to the little punk who did this. I know Caleb is going to hate that I made this page and he would never ask for help but right now even just the encouraging words and understanding are beyond appreciated. Thank you everyone!!
